What are EA, RSL, and IO?

The Encyclopedia of Associations (EA), Regional, State and Local Organizations (RSL), and International Organizations (IO) are the only comprehensive sources of detailed information concerning not-for-profit membership organizations of national, local, or international scope, respectively. Their listings of associations and professional societies are unsurpassed as “switchboards” connecting persons needing information to highly qualified sources.

The editorial objective for each edition is complete verification or updating of existing entries and the identification and description of new or previously unlisted organizations. This intensive effort includes several revision form mailings and direct contact by correspondence and telephone with nonresponding groups.
